OFCCP Registration Deadline – June 30, 2022

The Office of Federal Contract Compliance (OFCCP), part of the Department of Labor, is responsible for ensuring that employers doing business with the Federal government comply with the laws and regulations requiring nondiscrimination. Federal government contractors with 50 or more employees face a June 30, 2022 deadline to have plans in place to comply with Executive Orders and regulations mandating compliance. The OFCCP has the authority to conduct audits of company plans and has the authority to impose punitive actions against companies who fail to comply. The Central Ohio office of the Ohio University PTAC are pleased to sponsor a presentation by the Employers Resource Association to explain these issues, deadlines and what a company must do to comply.

Overview of SBA Certification Programs

Description: Each year, the Federal government spends billions of dollars on goods and services from various businesses. The SBA works to create an environment for maximum participation by small, disadvantaged, and woman-owned businesses in federal government contracting. The SBA administers several programs and services that assist small businesses in meeting the government’s requirements to receive contracts, from either prime contractors or subcontractors. These include certification programs such as the 8(a) Business Development, HUBZone, WOSB/EDWOSB, and VOSB/SDVOSB. Join this webinar to learn how these programs can potentially help you gain entrance into the federal government marketplace. You will also learn about the program benefits and how federal set asides can assist small businesses to compete for opportunities and win contract awards.
