There are two different notification types that offer small businesses an opportunity to make an informal introduction to Federal buying activities. Sources Sought notifications are market research tools used by Federal agencies to learn about capabilities available from industry. Federal agencies also use Request For Information (RFI) notices to solicit responses from small businesses to solve a specific problem or fill a need.
